Class Descriptions

METCON

Our most versatile class- Metcon (metabolic conditioning) are medium/high intensity functional fitness workouts using dumbbells, kettlebells, weighted balls, and other non-complex equipment. Each WOD (Workout Of the Day) varies in exercises. The workouts are different daily to keep the body guessing and progressing. We are sure to demonstrate and support you during this workout so you are confident in your exercises. These styles of classes are more like group training and are designed by our internationally recognized head trainer, Christina. Our daily workouts are based on a timer- so each person can work to their personal best making Metcon suitable for beginners, and more experienced participants. You pick your tempo, inspired by yourself and also those around you. The beauty of Metcon is that it helps with losing inches, getting stronger, losing weight, toning, and getting fit all at the same time. (Nothing complicated- no handstands, backflips, etc.) and can be adjusted to be inclusive while being cautious about injuries, for those avoiding ground work, and/or ways to make the exercises different for the way you uniquely move! This class will have you leaving proud, and with an empty tank- within 40 minutes.

TOTAL BODY STRENGTH

Challenge yourself with your dumbbell weights in this steady paced class of lifting. This class operates using a time clock, so you can focus on your own capabilities with help from our trainers. We usually will do 2 exercises back to back (superset), and 3-4 rounds, followed by recovery rest, then we go into another superset. There are no jumping or hopping exercises. Excellent for beginners, and/or those who need a push in the strength department, with being mindful of injuries such as back pain, plantar fasciitis, etc. If you’re intimidated in the free-weight section, or wanting more direction- this class is for you. Suitable for beginners, and experienced lifters.



CIRCUIT

Our Circuit class works on endurance and power development in ways you won’t get with traditional strength training workouts. As our regular Metcon, this class works on a timer. We have set 30s-40s Rounds with workload versus rest time. This style of training is similar to HIIT, High Intensity Interval Training, using battle ropes, punching pads, slam balls, and more. Each class has different exercises and alternates are always given for inclusive fitness!

Zumba

Zumba® is an interval-style dance fitness party that combines low-intensity and high-intensity moves as you move to the rhythm with Latin-inspired dance moves. The best part of it all is that it doesn’t even feel like exercise!

Kickboxing Fusion

The class lasts for 45 minutes and includes the fundamental kickboxing techniques. The combinations are easy to comprehend and are coupled with bodyweight movements and strength training involving dumbbells. This class is distinguished from regular cardio kickboxing as it incorporates MMA-style Century Versys Fight Simulator Bags. It is suitable for both beginners and experienced bag punchers. The class takes place in a black lit environment with energetic hip hop remixes to keep up the momentum. It offers a fun way to alleviate stress and to have a great time!

Glutes, Core, + Pelvic Floor

This class combines targeted exercises that work your glute muscles, which are responsible for hip stability and power. We also dive into core exercises that target your abdominal muscles, helping improve posture, balance, and overall stability. Lastly, we don’t forget about your pelvic floor, as we incorporate exercises that promote its strength and flexibility, supporting bladder control and overall pelvic health. Get ready to tone, strengthen, and feel empowered in this dynamic class!

Stretch + Reflection

Get ready to unwind and find your inner calm with Low lights, gentle ground stretching, surround reflective sound led by Christina. This unique class combines relaxing ambience with soothing stretches, helping you release tension and rejuvenate your body and mind. With Christina’s expert guidance, you’ll experience a meditative journey, accompanied by surround reflective sound that enhances the serenity of the environment. So come, take a break from the chaos of everyday life, and indulge in this blissful oasis of tranquility.

STIX

Stix offers an enjoyable workout experience that engages your entire body. This class combines the use of drumsticks with pulsating beats, adding a lively and rhythmic twist to your fitness routine.

Step & Tone

This is a step aerobics class that includes a combination of weight training and bodyweight exercises, performed to a rhythmic beat. Please note that we have steps, with optional risers available. However, step can be done without a step as well!
