I have a handful of trainers in my circle. A lot of them are overseas that I’ve been super fortunate to have met in my transformation competition days with the WBFF. There’s also some locals too.

There’s one thing that you’ll never see me do- I’ll never discredit another trainer in my circle, or trash their hustle. Why? Not everyone is for everybody. We have different specialties, backgrounds, life experiences, and ways to train. There’s enough people and potential clients in this world, that we don’t need to be sheep stealers. A sheep stealer is someone who goes from one farm to another to check out their sheep in order to steal them. Or, the farmer who wants other’s crops. Plant your own, use your own land, your own talent, and harvest. Some may plant vegetables, some may plant grapes (for wine💃🏽), and some avoid crops altogether and will have hobby farms with chickens, and cows, and pigs! (That’s a reference to the movie Selena in the 90s). My point is, there’s enough in this world! I recently had an awesome friend tag me in a post where a woman was looking for a personal trainer for pre and post pregnancy. Definitely not my strength by any means. Yes, I could have bullshit and made her some workout routines.. but it goes deeper than just working out. My lovely friend who I spoke with on a speakers panel specializes in what this woman was looking for. Her personality, and expertise, would be better suited.. so I tagged her and passed on the recommendation. I know what I’m good at, and I play within my experience and expertise. Someone wants a weight loss transformation? They want to gain strength? Accountability for a binge eating issue? I’m your girl. You want to do a bodybuilding show? I got contacts for that. You want to join a larger public gym and be trained in a gym atmosphere? I got contacts for that too! You’re shy and don’t want to be in public, and want a secluded atmosphere so no one sees your rolls when you squat.. I GOT YOU. Not every trainer is created equal. Some may be questionable lol but not one is better than the other- we all are different 😎

If you’re looking for a trainer, evaluate.

Meet them, feel out their personality, knowledge, and see if it’s a good fit.
